Its New Years Eve!

I cannot believe how quickly this year went by. After deciding to take a year off from behind the camera, I needed to get back behind it for a couple different reasons. One reason being, it gave me a sense of peace. There's SO much that goes into each and every session. From the initial email or message, to the planning and preparing for the session, then the session itself, and then the work that goes into editing each final image for my clients. Even with all of that, being behind my camera is pretty therapeutic for me. Now add in all of the amazing clients that I have the honor of working with, amazing is not even the word to describe the feeling.

Working with each client has been a different experience each time. Most of my clients are military, and being a military wife myself, we can be a pretty private group of people. We hold our families in the center of our hearts. So allowing someone to come in and capture the sweetest of memories that is essentially a stranger can be kind of daunting. I have had the pleasure of working with clients that have now become friends, and trust me time and time again to capture the milestones in their lives, as well as their children's, is something I cannot thank you guys enough for.

Here's to another amazing year - 2018!
