Hey everyone!!
This is a SUPER exciting post for me because I haven't done a birth story in a while. Marissa and I started planning her birth story several months ago. So it just became a waiting game for baby Harrison to decide he was ready. I got the call about 1:00 in the afternoon that Marissa was going up to labor and delivery to be checked because she had been having contractions.
About 30ish minutes later, she texts me and says Baby Harrison is ready! After about 4 hours of labor, unmedicated I might add, 30 minutes of pushing, Harrison was born! He was born at 5:26PM and weighed 7 pounds 12.5 ounces. Dad was unable to be there due to work, but he was lucky enough to video chat the entire thing! He was able to be there for Marissa during the labor process and see his brand new baby boy born.
The midwife and nurses were amazing! They couldn't haI cannot even put into words how excited and honored to have been there to capture this moment for Marissa and Blake!
