Happy Monday everyone!!
I'm working on blogging a few different sessions, with Miss Peighton's newborn session up first.
This sweet baby girl is the most perfect little thing. Mom and Dad are both completely head over heels for their new baby girl!
This session was filled with family heirlooms and pieces that are packed with so much meaning to this sweet family.
Grandma came along to the studio also and brought the best little headband I have ever seen. Peighton's grandma, her dad's mom, is a Boston Marathoner and asked if we could do something special for her. I've had a few people bring heirlooms in for their session, but I think the Boston Marathon tribute is my all time favorite!
Mom brought along her wedding veil to use also! The quilt you see in a couple of the photos below was made by Peighton's great-grandma. I saw it and immediately became obsessed with it!
I use dog-tags in almost every session, and just about each time I am handed dog-tags there is some kind of memento that the parent has put on their tags. For Peighton's dad, it was a cross. Simple yet so much meaning.
